Everyone on the internet is busy trying to nail down a release date for the new PS4 console, but no one really knows for sure. The best guesses and rumors are indicating that the PlayStation Four will be hitting the market sometime in 2012. There was some serious speculation that they might try to move that date up to get it on the market in time for the 2011 Christmas shopping season, but the reality is that it would be pretty much impossible to pull that off. Since it is September 2011 at the time of this writing and there has not been any sign of the units being manufactured, it’s a safe bet they won’t make it this year.
Since it is almost certain that the PS4 will not be released this year, everyone is having lots of fun trying to speculate what the new console will look like and what will actually end up being under the hood. There is a lot of speculation, but very little information, as to what will be in the new console, but I would say there is a really good chance it will involve 3d gaming and massive hard drives, along with new games with spectacular graphics.
There are even a bunch of rumors about what the new PS4 console might look like. There are a lot of pictures making the rounds on the internet of what are supposed to be prototype consoles, but, once again, no one really knows for sure. My guess is the new console will be very curvy and sleek with kind of a minimalist design. I look for the controls to be similar to the PS3 controls, but maybe a little bit sleeker.
One thing is for certain, as soon as there is any confirmed information about when and where the new consoles will be available, you will find it here. We have relationships with all the big retailers, as well as several small ones, so we will be able to find any of the new PlayStation 4 consoles as soon as they become available. We’ll also be searching for any great PS4 bundle deals, and bringing them to you.
